A potter and artist, Sue Paraskeva makes beautiful objects that are both pure and organic in form. We are charmed by the poetic, fine simplicity of Sue’s slightly tilted bowls. Each piece is unique and individual, made by hand on a Momentum Wheel; this is a process most commonly known and used in Jingdezhen, China, the porcelain capital. The wheel requires no electricity- a peaceful tranquil environment for creativity.
Sue Paraskeva works from her own studio in the Isle of Wight. The shapes are inspired by industrial landscapes of the North East and the marks have evolved from line drawings of the landscape.
