Inge Vincents Ceramics

"I have played with clay since I was four years old. In art class at school and high school it was always the clay and the wheel that caught my attention. After getting my business degree from London I worked in administration and took classes with various professional ceramists in my spare time. In 2003 I took the leap and completed a year of full time pottery at technical college, and after a year at Christian Bruun and Karin Michelsen's studio I started working as a full-time self-employed ceramist. My work is about the things we use every day – vases, votifs, mugs, bowls etc. I like the idea that my creations are to be used."
