Handmade in England.
Anna hand throws each piece in porcelain on the potter’s wheel, cutting, reassembling and reshaping some of the larger pieces. Stretching the physical properties of the materials she works with, Anna accentuates each form with precise carved lines that delineate the segments.
The resulting work is a portfolio of fine porcelain bowls, vases and vessel. Glazed with either a semi glossy black or semi matt creamy white, the egg shell finish of the work is enticing.
As all products are handmade sizes and colour may vary slightly.
After completing a BA at Camberwell School of Art and MA at The Royal College of Art, Anna spent several years in the States where she taught ceramics at Syracuse University as well as developing her own work.
Having returned to the UK in the 90's Anna is now London based, continuing to teach part time and create work from her South-East London studio.
