Following Kaori Tatebayashi's studies in Kyoto and the RCA London, she has exhibited frequently in London and Japan, recent exhibitions including; Ceramic Art London, Made London, Collect Saatchi and British Modern Pottery Japan. She was born in  a small village called Arita in Japan and grew up with a family who traded pottery.  She currently lives and works in London.

Kaori hopes that the quietness and simplicity of her work allows it to fit in with how different people live, and to inspire pleasurable use. "I want my work to embody nature and to create an experience of it in some small, intimate way so that it makes someone’s daily life slightly more special," she explains.
