Fliff Carr

Fliff Carr has been making ceramics in her own London studio for the last 16 years. The subtle shades and intricate details of vintage fabrics and the textures of old lace as well as ‘found objects’ from the banks of the Thames strongly inspire her.

Fliff’s ceramics are made from white earthenware clay with a soft pallet, opaque vellum or transparent glaze over coloured slips and underglazes. Each piece is unique, whether in form or detail. The Lace Plates would make any tea party a delight. These pieces, grouped together, make a stunning wall display.
